The Uganda Rugby Union has announced pools for the 2024 edition of the Uganda Cup set to usher in the new season.
Current Uganda Cup holders Heathens are top seeded in Pool A alongside Rhinos, Kyambogo, Walukuba Barbarians and Tooro rugby Lions.
Uganda cup Pool B
Rams are in Pool B together with Black Pirates, Eagles, Elgon Wolves and Kitgum Lions.
Pool C features Mongers, Impis, Victoria Sharks, Jinja Hippos and Gulu Falcons.

KoBs are in Pool D and they will compete against Warriors, Buffaloes, Njeru Hurricanes and Kigezi Silverbacks.
Heathens will be aiming to defend the title they won in the last edition after edging the Lifeguard Rams 57-22 at the King’s Park.
