2024 National 7s champions Kenya Harlequin have confirmed their participation in the 2024 edition of Uganda’s Kitaka 10s to be held at Kings Park Arena, Bweyogerere from 26-27th, October 2024.
Fourteen men’s teams and six women’s teams are expected to participate in the two-day tournament with Quins using the competition to prepare for the upcoming 2023/2024 Kenya Cup season set to begin in November and are set play several friendlies in Uganda during the period.

Quins’ participation in Kitaka 10s means they will miss on the 2024 edition Impala Floodlit tournament which has always been their preseason tournament.
Paul Murunga charges will aim to post positive results in the tournament as they are boosted by the return of Emmanuel Mavala and Joshua chisanga.

Kampala Old Boys (KOBs) Rugby Club are the hosts of Kitaka Tens (10s) which is the second edition. Other teams participating in the tournament include Pirates, Heathens, Buffaloes, Tororo crests, Impis, Eagles, Rams and Rhinos.
In the ladies category Panthers will compete against Black Pearls, Thunderbirds, She Wolves, Ewes and Kisubi lady pacers.
Last year’s edition of the tournament saw Nondescripts bag the title in the Men’s category with Uganda’s Black Pearls winning the title in the women’s category.
