Shujaa ended the day with a flawless performance in Pool A, winning all their group stage matches at the Machakos Stadium to keep their hopes alive for a third consecutive title ahead of Sunday’s quarterfinals.
The Kenya 7s squad secured victories in all four matches, defeating the Lions, Qatar, Kenya Varsity Select, and Zimbabwe Cheetahs to collect 12 points with a point differential of +111 as they head into the knockout stage.

Zimbabwe finished second in Pool A with nine points and a point differential of +74, ahead of the Lions, who placed third with six points and a +33 differential.
The Varsity Select earned three points, while Qatar failed to register any points.
In Pool B, Shogun topped the group with three wins and a draw, earning 10 points. Kenya Morans followed in second place with seven points after securing two wins and a draw.

National 7s Circuit Champions Kenya Harlequin claimed third place with six points from two victories.
Meanwhile, Uganda and the Red Wailers both managed only three wins across the tournament.
