The Red Wailers squad for the 2024 Safari 7s in Machakos has been announced, with Strathmore Leos dominating the list.
Key Leos players include Barnabas Owuor, Stanislaus Shikoli, Shem Okola, Gideon Makumi, Arnold Muita, and Philemon Olang.
Red Wailers pick Nondies trio
Kennedy Wanyoike, Nyaenya Moseti join Charles Omondi to complete the Nondies representation in the squad. Blak Blad’s Shuaib Wesonga and MMUST’s standout player and captain in the National 7s Circuit, Veron Kaburu, are also part of the team.
Barnabas Owuor and Charles Odhiambo will co-captain the squad, while Elkeans Musonye takes the reins as coach.

The Men’s Safari 7s tournament will feature teams from Qatar, Shujaa (Kenya), Morans (Kenya), Uganda Cranes, Zimbabwe, Shogun Rugby (formerly Samurai Rugby), Kenya Harlequin, Kenya Varsity Select, Red Wailers, and Lions Rugby.
