Australia’s Wallabies are at the bottom of the table with 5 points, enduring four defeats throughout the competition.
They will be aiming to break their long drought by attempting to win the Bledisloe Cup for the first time since 2002 in the upcoming matches.
New Zealand has historically dominated the Rugby Championship, winning 10 of the 12 tournaments since its inception. The only exceptions came in World Cup years, where teams only played each other once.
In 2015, the Wallabies took the title after defeating New Zealand, and in 2019, the Springboks emerged victorious.
The 2020 and 2021 tournaments were shortened due to COVID-19, with Argentina and South Africa absent. Argentina missed only the 2020 edition, while South Africa missed both.
