KCB Rugby have officially confirmed the departure of their coach Mike Shamiah from the technical bench.
Shamiah has been the strength and conditioning coach and his exit comes days after the head coach Curtis Olago left the side after 13 years.
The Kabeberi 7s tournament which KCB Rugby won 29-7 was Shamiah’s final match involvement with the National 7s Champions.
“This is not a goodbye, this is a thank you. Thank you for your guidance, your inspiration, your encouragement, for being there and for being a mentor to us. All the best in your future endeavours. It’s happening !” KCB Rugby announced.

Shamiah has been at the den as the Strength and conditioning coach since 2014. He has been in charge of general fitness, skill development and injury rehabilitation.
He has also served as an SNC coach for Kenya 7s, AFC Leopards and Kenya Lionesses.
