KCB Rugby Club have confirmed the departure of Curtis Olago who has won multiple Kenya Cup titles with the club.

The club has announced that the coach’s contract will expire at the end of August and will be not renewed further.
Curtis Olago success at KCB
While at KCB Rugby, he delivered five Kenya Cup titles, two National Sevens Circuit titles, five Great Rift 10s, three Enterprise Cups and Floodlit titles.
“We can confirm the departure of our head coach Curtis Olago, after the expiry of his contract on August 31, 2024. This marks the end of an era for the coach who has been at the helm since 2011
Under Olago’s leadership, KCB Lions achieved unparalleled success, securing the Kenya Cup title five times. His tenure also saw the team win two National Sevens Circuit titles, five Great Rift 10s, three Enterprise Cups, and numerous floodlit rugby titles.

“His influence extended beyond the club, as he served as the assistant coach for the Kenya Fifteens side at the national level.
“Olago’s legacy at KCB Lions is one of remarkable achievement and dominance. He maintained an unbeaten record in the National Sevens Circuit for two years, leading the team to victories in 2014 and 2015. Additionally, his strategic prowess brought home the Great Rift 10s title five times and the Enterprise Cup thrice.
