2-time winner Jerry Tuwai named in Fiji’s 15-man squad for Olympics

Fiji Rugby have announce their 15-man Fiji 7s squad for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games set July.

The squad, under the guidance of Head Coach Osea Kolinisau, is set to aim for Olympic glory later this month.

Head coach Osea Kolinisau has finalized the 15-member squad.

The men’s team is laden with experience, with 2016 and 2020 Olympic Games gold medalist Jerry Tuwai leading the charge.

Waisea Nacuqu, Joseva Talacolo, Iosefo Masi and Sevuloni Mocenacagi have also made the cut in the 15-man squad.

Kolinisau commented, “The Olympic Games are a unique event, and our biggest challenge will be adjusting to the rhythm and flow that comes with the international stage, given our limited time together. However, I am confident in the talent and experience of our players.”

Fiji Rugby is confident that this team, with its blend of seasoned veterans and dynamic young talent, will rise to the occasion and make the nation proud in Paris.
