The Rugby Africa Cup schedule has been confirmed, with the Kenya Simbas’ quarterfinal set to take place at the Mandela National Stadium in Nambole, Kampala.
The matches will kick off on Saturday, July 20, 2024, with Kenya Simbas set to face Senegal in the second quarterfinal at 12:00 noon.

This encounter will be their first since the 2021 Rugby Africa Cup campaign, where the Simbas suffered a shocking 20-19 defeat to Senegal at the Nyayo National Stadium on July 3, 2021.

In the first quarterfinal, Namibia will face Burkina Faso, while Algeria will take on Ivory Coast. Zimbabwe Sables are paired with Uganda in the Cup quarters.
The winner of the Kenya Simbas-Senegal match will advance to the semifinals to play against the winner of the Algeria-Ivory Coast quarterfinal on Wednesday, July 24.

The winner of the Namibia-Burkina Faso match will meet the winner of the Zimbabwe-Uganda quarterfinal.
The final day of the tournament will take place on Sunday, July 28, at the same venue.

The Rugby Africa Cup last took place in 2022 and served as a qualifier for the 2023 Rugby World Cup. Namibia won the 2022 edition, defeating Kenya Simbas 36-0 in the final to qualify as Africa 1, while Kenya advanced to the final Qualification Tournament as Africa 2. Algeria secured third place by beating Zimbabwe 20-12.
The 2022 tournament featured an 8-team knockout format and was held in France at Stade Delort in Marseille and Stade Maurice David in Aix-en-Provence.
