The Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST) Rugby team is set to host a thrilling touch rugby tournament on June 1st.
This eagerly anticipated event promises to bring together rugby enthusiasts from across the region for a day of spirited competition.
The tournament will take place at the MMUST grounds “Poshomill” The grounds will be prepared to ensure a top-notch experience for both players and spectators.

Games will be played in a round-robin format, ensuring that each team gets ample opportunity to showcase their talents and enjoy the game.

In addition to the thrill of the games, the tournament offers attractive incentives. A prize of 10,000 Ksh will be awarded to the winning team, adding a competitive edge to the event. The registration fee is set at 500 Ksh per team.
Registration is currently open and will continue until May 29th, allowing ample time for teams to sign up and join in this historic event.

It also aims for mental health awareness and mental health among kakamega residents. Former rugby players can meet and reminisce about their playing days.
