Buffaloes change 4 for Rugby Super Series playoff match

Buffaloes have confirmed their squad for the Rugby Super Series third place playoff match against Rhinos, scheduled for 2:00 p.m. at RFUEA Grounds.

Coach Max Adaka has made no change in the tight five, with Eugene Sifuna, Edward Mwaura,  Hillary Mwaura, Hillary Odhiambo and Clinton Litali retaining their places in the front row and second row for the second consecutive game.

Collins Indeche returns to the starting lineup, while George Nyambua retains his position as captain and starts on the blindside flank, with Jeanson Misoga staying at number eight. Dan Angwech will play as scrum-half, and Barry Robinson continues at fly-half.

In the midfield, Patrick Kluivert from Catholic Monks has been handed a start alongside Hillary Salano, who has been a consistent in squad in the Series alongside Litali, Mwaura and Mwanjilwa.

The back three features Humphrey Asiligwa, Western Bulls’ Daniel Kipchirchir, and Kenya U20 teammate Jackson Siketa.

Buffaloes aim to secure a double over Rhinos, who have been boosted by the return of Head Coach Paul Murunga from international duty.
