In April, the Kenya Rugby Union initiated a collaboration with public and international schools to nurture young talent. Spearheaded by the Development Department under the leadership of Development Coordinator Ronnald Okoth and coach Odera, the initiative aims to elevate Kenya’s rugby prowess from grassroots to international levels.
The project, operating under the 15s High-Performance Program, meticulously selects 60 promising players from each region to integrate into the U18 program. This selection process, drawing talent from ongoing 15s school games, is a concerted effort to identify and groom the next generation of rugby stars.
