Kenya Morans suffer defeat to Burkina Faso in All African games 7s

Kenya Morans suffered a defeat to Burkina Faso, going down 10-5 in the All African Games 7s opening match of the played on Tuesday.

The Morans led courtesy of unconverted try but Burkina Faso fought back to score two unconverted tries which earned a famous win over Kenya.

The team led by coach Louis Kisia will be back in action against at 5:00 pm against Zimbabwe Cheetahs.

They will later play against Benin on Wednesday while on Thursday they will tackle Tunisia, Ghana and will conclude against Uganda.

The tournament will see the participation of rugby Men & women teams across Africa participate for the first time in the history of the games.

The Men’s teams include Kenya, Uganda, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Tunusia, Burkina-Faso and Benin while the Women’s teams will include Uganda, Tunisia, Madagascar, Ghana and Nigeria.

The rugby games are taking place between March 19-21 2024 at the newly constructed rugby stadium at the university of Ghana, Legon, Accra.
