East African 7s Champions Koyonzo High School have been crowned the School of the Year in the Sportspersonality of the Year Awards (SOYA) boys category.
The Kakamega County-based side beat Namwela Boys and National Football Champions St Anthony Boys who finished second and third respectively.
Koyonzo showed their dominance with an unbeaten streak for the second consecutive year, triumphing over Vihiga in the Western Region and successfully defending their National title.

Their rivalry with Vihiga culminated in a thrilling East African 7s final, where Koyonzo emerged victorious, claiming their maiden East Africa title.
The school has been on the rise post-COVID-19 and has been dominant in the Western region where they have dominated the shorter version in the last two years.
