Platinum Credit Heathens have joined the Nile Rapids as the Champions of the 2024 Nile Special Uganda Cup Women’s and Men’s chapter after edging the Lifeguard Rams 57-22 at the King’s Park
Malcom Okello helped Heathens register the first points of the game witha successfully converted penalty kick to tally the Scores 3-0.
Rams also responded with a successful three point kick to level the scores 3-3 before Malcom Okello was awarded another penalty for the Heathens which boosted their streak 6-3.
Rams leveled the scores 6-6 with another penalty kick before Innocent Gwokto made an outrageous line break to make the first try-box visit of the game as he puts the Heathens upfront 13-6 after Malcom Okello’s successful conversion.
Rams withstanding the pressure they utilized yet another penalty to make a three point increment in their scores to tally the board 13-9.
Innocent Gwokto made another run for it as he scored his second try of the game to put the Heathens up 20-09 after a successful conversion by Malcom Okello before the Rams had their chance for a three point kick to change the scores 20-12.
Michael Wokorach took his chances as he made through the Rams defense to increase their streak 27-12 after a successful conversion before half time.
In the second half, Malcom Okello takes up the Crown as he boots up and successful garnered three points for Heathens to tally the scores 30-12 before Lawrence Ssebuliba added another try at the far corner to tally the board 35-12 after a missed conversion.
Rams determined to reduce the gap and steal the show managed three points to sum their scores 35-15 before Michael Wokorach added on his second try as he broadens the scores 45-15 after a successful conversion.
Malcom Okello also took chances against the Rams defense as he scored his first try to increase their lead 47-15 as his conversion was short.
Vanny Adebua also made a half century try for himself as he forced a statement to the Rams defense to increase their scores 52-15 before he added his brace to tally the scores 57-15 after a missed conversion.
The Rams managed their first try of the Game that was successfully converted to tally the Board 57-22 before the final whistle.
