The Men’s pools for the the third round of the World Rugby HSBC sevens series, Perth 7s have been confirmed and the action begins January 26-28 2024.
The matches are scheduled to be played in Perth,Western in Australia and Perth will be hosting the HSBC SVNS for the very first time.
Pool draws took place at the HBF Park venue on Thursday 11 January 2024 where in Pool A Dubai Champions South Africa are drawn alongside Cape Town Argentina, Canada and Spain.

Pool B consists of hosts Australia alongside Ireland, Great Britain and the USA.
A tough contest awaits in a competitive and strong-looking Pool C where Fiji will play New Zealand alongside France and Samoa.

Australia, as the host nation, are leading the women’s standings in the SVNS (Sydney Sevens) series, intending to achieve a hat-trick of tournament victories.
They have demonstrated impressive performances in the opening two rounds in Dubai and Cape Town.
In the upcoming competition in Perth, Australia will be in Pool A, facing Canada, Great Britain, and South Africa.
New Zealand, the reigning Olympic champions and rivals, will compete in Pool C against the USA, Ireland, and Japan. Pool B of the women’s competition will feature France, Fiji, Brazil, and Spain.
On the men’s side, the SVNS title race is highly competitive. Argentina is currently leading the standings after securing gold in Cape Town and silver in Dubai.
However, South Africa, Fiji, New Zealand, Ireland, and the host nation Australia are all within six points of each other, making the title race wide open.
