Menengai Oilers Head Coach Gibson Weru has made a raft of changes to his 13-man traveling squad with the return of former Kenya 7s star Harold Anduvate Ojango the headline.

Ojango has been away from the game for close to 2 years with injury-related issues but now makes a welcome return to deputize Tyson Maina, our 7s Captain.

Ojango is also joined in the return list by another former Kenya 7s star in the form of Mark Kwemoi who will be making his first 7s appearance for the Oilers. Tony Oketch also makes his very first 7s team this season.

Others who make a return to the team include Eugene Asava who returns to the team for the first time since Dala 7s, Steve Arunga who missed Christie 7s and has since received a call-up to the National 7s team, Shujaa.

There is a debut on the cards for Kenya Simbas international Elkeans Musonye alias Fonto as well as Felix Njenga.

Musonye joined the club in the June transfer window from Kenya Cup side Kenya Harlequin and has since been training with the team in readiness for this moment.

In Eldoret we are bundled in Pool B along with varsity sides Strathmore Leos, Catholic Monks and Masinde Muliro University.
