Kenya U20 rugby squad has been named ahead of their opening match against Samoa in the World U20 Trophy, set to take place at Nyayo Stadium on Saturday at 12:00 PM.
The front row will consist of Geylord Ngasi, Jeremy Odhiambo, and Raymond Chacha, who will operate as props and hooker respectively.
Kenya U20 locks
In the second row, Stanslas Shikoli and Andycole Omolo will take on the roles of locks. The back row will feature Laban Kipsang, Iddo Kuta, and Jacktone Omondi as flankers and number 8 respectively.
Patrick Wainaina will assume the scrum-half position, acting as the link between the forwards and the backs. At fly-half, Eddy Wambugu Murage will start.
In the backline, Raphael Wanga and Alvin Kalori will occupy the wing positions as Felix Chacha and captain Michael Wamalwa start in the midfield.
Completing the lineup, Faran Juma will operate as the fullback. Throughout the match, the players on the bench – including George Otieno, Wicklife Otieno, Mike Oduor, Edmond Omondih, Vincent Omondi, Brian Mwendwa, Davies Spencer, and Victor Odhiambo – will be ready to make an impact when called upon.
