Kabras impress in Sugarbelt 7s friendlies at Bull Ring

Kabras RFC once again had a fine run in the Sugarbelt 7s friendlies hosted by Western Bulls at the Bull Ring on Saturday.

MMUST and Western Bulls had an impressive run in the matches. Kabras A kicked off the day with a 64-0 victory over Mbale.

Kabras massive win

Jone Kubu and Duncan Abuyeka bagged a brace each. Patrick Lumumba, Paul Abuto, Warren, Brian Tanga and Lamec Ambesta landed tries each in their massive win.

Mathias Osimbo, Tanga, Muhanjiand Ambesta were on the scoresheet in the second game which they beat Kisumu 25-0. Kabras also picked a win over Western Bulls, MMUST. Their second-string side featured in the competition as well as their girls’ team which beat Shamberere 20-5 and edged Bishop Sulumeti Girls by a Solitary try.

Western Bulls and MMUST also did well in the competition which was being used by the teams to prepare for the National Sevens Circuit.
