The Kenya Rugby Union (KRU) has announced the opening of the 2023/2024 transfer window following the conclusion of the regular 15-a-side season on 18th April, 2023.
The transfer window opened on the 19th of April 2023 and will close exactly two weeks before the commencement of the National Sevens Circuit, on the 10th of June 2023.
In a statement released by Thomas Odundo, the Director of Rugby, clubs have been advised to ensure that all their players are duly registered and that the necessary documentation is presented to the secretariat. It is important to note that any transfer not completed before June 10th, 2023 shall have to be concluded during the next transfer window.
“Clubs are advised that with the conclusion of the regular 15-a-side season on 18th April. 2023, the 2023/2024 transfer window opened on 19th April 2023 and will close exactly 2 weeks before the commencement of the National Sevens Circuit, that is 10th June 2023, ”
“With this regard, kindly note any transfer not completed before June 10th, 2023 shall have to be concluded during the next transfer window. Clubs are advised to ensure all their players are duly registered and the documentation presented to the secretariat,” reads statement by Udundo.
