Kenya U20 15s have announced their squad for the highly anticipated Barthes Trophy semifinal match against Namibia, set to kick off at 4:30 PM at Nyayo stadium.
The team, led by coach Curtis Olago, will be looking for revenge after their 16-5 loss to Namibia in 2022.
Kenya U20 front row
Geylord Ngasi, Mike Oduor, and Raymond Chacha will make up the front row as props and a hooker, while Stanslaus Shikoli and Eugene Etale will play as locks.
The back row will feature captain Laban Kipsang as flanker alongside Iddo Kuta, with James Asanga in the number 8 position.
Patrick Wainaina will start at scrum-half, with Eddy Wambugu playing fly-half.
The team’s wingers will be Raphael Wanga and Victor Odhiambo, with Chacha Masega and Mike Wamalwa playing as centres. Faran Juma will play fullback.
In addition to the starting lineup, the team has also named an impressive list of replacements, including George Otieno (Hooker), Brian Makaya (Prop), Dennis Kisingu (Prop), Jacktone Omondi (Lock), William Otondi (Back row), Edmond Omondi (Scrum-half), Zephenes Obwanga (Fly-half/Fullback), and Kennedy Claude (Winger).
