The Rugby Africa U20 Barthes Trophy semi-final pairings and timings have been confirmed ahead of the matches for scheduled for Nyayo Stadium on Wednesday 26 April 2023.
The tournament, which also serves as a qualification tournament for the World Rugby U20 Trophy, has seen some thrilling matches so far.
U20 Barthes Trophy
The first match of the day will see Cote d’Ivoire take on Madagascar at 9.00am in the 5th place semi-final. The second 5th place semi-final match of the day will feature Zambia and Uganda at 11.30am. Both teams will be looking to end the tournament on a high note and secure a respectable finish.
The much-anticipated semi-final matches will kick off at 2.00pm, with defendinf Champions Zimbabwe taking on Tunisia. Both teams have been in fine form throughout the tournament and will be looking to book their spot in the final.
Kenya vs Namibia
The final semi-final match of the day will see Namibia take on the host nation, Kenya at 4.30pm. Namibia has been the standout team in the tournament in the previous years. However, Kenya will be hoping to cause an upset and book their place in the final in front of their home fans to avoid 2022 disappointment.
Fans can expect a thrilling day of rugby action at the Nyayo National Stadium on Wednesday. The charges for entry are Ksh 100 for regular tickets and Ksh 500 for VIP tickets.
