Mang’u High School rugby 15s team continued to dominate the Kiambu County Schools tournament, emerging as champions in the final against Alliance with a convincing 22-3 win.
The Wazimba’s four tries in the game secured their victory and paved the way for them to represent the county in the upcoming Central region competition.
Mang’u’s journey to the final was marked by their impressive performances, particularly their 43-0 win over Githiga in the semifinals. Alliance, on the other hand, secured their spot in the final with a hard-fought 10-5 win over Kiambu High School in a closely contested match.
Mang’u’s rugby 15s team’s success is no surprise, as they have consistently been one of the most dominant teams in local and regional competitions.
With two KSSSA rugby 15s championships and three FEASSSA rugby 15s championships under their belt, the Wazimba have established themselves as a force to be reckoned with in the sport.
