After their disappointing loss to Mean Machine last season in the semis, South Coast Pirates are back to the last four as they hope to qualify for Kenya Cup despite a tough clash against Nondies on Saturday.

Pirates head Coach Kevin Amiani has announced his 24-man squad that will play on Saturday against the Rangers with his side boosted by Ali Rashid and Steve Bosire return from injury.

In the front row, Timothy Osaji will be the loose-head prop, Idd Gaguma will be the hooker and Evans Mwakio will be the tight-head prop.

The second row will have Collince Kabayo and Ellis Gitonga as the locks. Cliphod Odhiambo will be the blind-side flanker and Charles Okwemba as the Open-side Flanker. Ibrahim Nyongesa will be the last man at the scrum with the No.8 Jersey.

Rashid goes straight to the first 15 to be the starting scrum half and will play along with Joseph Musyoki who will be the fly half. Deven Abuga together with Charles Tendwa will be at the inside and outside centre respectively.

The back three will have the two wingers with Bakari Hassan having the No.11 Jersey and Antony Obonyo with the No.14 Jersey together with Ken Omaset at the fullback.

Pirates suffered a 22-17 lose to Nondies when they last met and will be keen to overturn the result. A win will see them reach the Kenya Cup for the first time in history.
