Kenya Harlequin keep winning streak alive with victory over Blak Blad

Kenya Harlequin secured their sixth consecutive win in the Kenya Cup, defeating Blak Blad 36-8 at RFUEA Grounds.

The victory brings Harlequin one step closer to securing a spot in the semifinals with only two games left to play.

In the early minutes of the game, Richel Wangila gave Harlequin the lead with a try, which was converted by Cornelius Mukoro.

Six minutes later, Mukoro added his own try, with Henry Ayah adding the extras for a 14-0 lead. Mukoro then scored a penalty in the 35th minute, and converted Meshack Tunechi’s try in the to give Harlequin a 24-0 lead at halftime.

In the second half, Blak Blad capitalized on a yellow card for Tunechi, scoring a try through Jerry Odhiambo. Arnold Onzere then came off the bench to score the fourth try for Harlequin, while Blad added a penalty to bring the score to 31-8. Ayah scored the final try in the 79th minute, with Onzere adding the conversion for a 36-6 win.
