Kenya Simbas skipper Dan Sikuta gifts youngster after noticing him play barefoot

Kabras RFC forward Dan Sikuta has wowed fans through his kind gesture of gifting a player he noticed playing barefoot, with a pair of boots.

Sikuta who serves as Kenya Simbas captain, was moved by the youngster’s skills in the field, even though he was playing barefoot, and after their games against Nakuru over the weekend, he approached the boy whom Scrummage Africa identify as Thomas Ombasa and gifted him a clean pair of boots.

Through his social media post, Sikuta posted a photo of him with the youngster, and wishing him all the best in his rugby journey.

“What a talent that this young-star has. Watched him play barefoot at NAC in Nakuru over the weekend. Wish him the very best. #alwayssupportlocal talents,” he captioned the post.

Former Harambee Stars, Tusker and AFC Leopards defender James Situma who is a close friend to Sikuta commented “Blessings Papa”

Sikuta returned to Kabras’ starting line-up on Saturday as they whipped Nakuru RFC 42-0 to pick maximum points at Nakuru Athletic Club.
