Kenya Simbas International Bethuel Anami Muteshi has joined French side Stade Caennaise RC, Strahmore Leos have confirmed.
Muteshi has been a prominent player for Leos over the last three seasons, helping the team to two Kenya Cup semi-finals and earning a spot on the Kenya Simbas roster.
Kenya Simbas break through
His breakthrough with the National Team came during the Currie Cup, where he became a regular starter at number eight and stayed there for the whole of the International season. He competed in the Rugby Africa Cup, where Kenya Simbas came second.
The back rower also featured for the Simbas during the Rugby World Cup final qualification tournament and as the simbas finished bottom.
His immediate former club Strathmore Leos confirmed his move and wished him well.

Muteshi, a St Peters graduate, helped St Peters Mumias become the first Kenyan team to win the East African 7s title in 2016.
Stade Caennaise rc is a Federal 3 rugby club and is currently ranked third on the log with 30 points with their next match set to be against RC Pont on January 23.
