MMUST are through to the final of the Victoria 15s after a 29-10 win against Western Bulls in a semi-final played on Saturday at Mamboleo Grounds.
The teams were facing off for the third time with Bulls having won the previous two meetings which came while the teams were both part of the KRU Championship.
The students were quick off the blocks with Griffin Chao grabbing a try under the post that Eric Cantona converted for a 7-0.
Cantona then joined the scoresheet with a try that he also converted for a 14-0.
Western Bulls pulled back with an unconverted try cutting the gap to nine. The scoreline would remain unchanged till the sides headed to the break.
In the second half, Lamech Ambetsa restored a 14-point gap after landing an unconverted for MMUST.
Ambesta bagged his brace minutes later for a 24-5 lead before Bulls pulled back with another unconverted try.
Ishmael Karanja sealed Mmust victory as he scored a try that saw them win 29-10.
Mmust will face the winner of the match putting Kabras RFC and Kisumu RFC.
