Former Championship side Kitale RFC are in search of a sponsor ahead of the 2022-23 season.
Taking to social media, the side announced they are looking for a sponsor to aid in the financial demands that will come with the new season.
Despite the tough financial constraints they faced, the side managed a semi-final finish in last season’s Nationwide League, where they fall short of returning to the Championship after falling 11-10 to Zetech Oaks in the semi-final clash that was played on April 2022 in Kitale.
All potential sponsors or support towards the club can be channelled towards National Bank, account number 01281117031000, account name, KITALE RUGBY CLUB.
Meanwhile, the club has announced their hierarchy structure, which comprises eight members who will function as the club’s board members.
Ben Amboko retains his coaching duties and will be assisted by Emmanuel Mengich. Walter Ongeti has been named club chairman. Brevia Barasa will oversee secretarial duties, with Cleophas Mikisi being named treasurer. Francis Mulembo has been named the team manager.
