Kenya Rugby Union has confirmed new appointments after the conclusion of its elections which happened last month.
The Rugby Governing body has appointed Leslie Mwangale who got elected to the board during the recent elections to serve as the director of Leagues and fixtures.
Peris Mukoko who missed the vice-chair seat has been co-opted to the board with her role being director of women’s rugby.
“Following the recent elections during the Kenya Rugby Union (KRU) Annual General Meeting, the KRU Board has appointed Leslie Mwangale as the Director in charge of Leagues and Fixtures,” the Union announced on Monday.
“The Board has further co-opted Peris Mukoko-Wanyaga who will serve as the Director of Women’s Rugby, the statement further read.
Oscar Mango is the Director of sevens rugby and has a role as the chairman of the National Squads committee. Ray Olendo is the Director 15s rugby while John Kilonzo and Kikechi Kombo have roles as directors of commercial and development.
