Butula High School’s Rayvone Ambale was named the KSSSA Rugby 7s Most Valuable Player after the conclusion of the National School Games held in Nakuru County.
Ambale who is part of the Kabras Juniors squad was consistent throughout the tournament and was also awarded as the Top try Scorer.
The playmaker who averaged three tries per match scored a total of 20 tries in the two day event.
128 points
He ended the tournament with 128 points having also drilled in 14 conversion in the two day tournament.
Ambale who has also featured for Kenya Under 20 helped his side finish second in their maiden appearance at the Nationals. His side fell 31-0 to Koyonzo who proceed to East African Games as Champions.

Butula have also booked a place in the East African Games alongside Nanyuki High School who finished third.
Butula now coached by Libondo Shimenga who made history in 2016, becoming the first Kenyan side to win the East African Sevens Title will be keen to win the title in Tanzania.
