Kenya Cup 2021/22 awards: Kabras star Jone Kubu scoops two accolades

Kubu scored 21 points following one try, four penalties, two conversion and set Teddy Akala up for try in their 34-28 win over Menengai Oilers to be crowned Champions. The performance saw him awarded as the man of the final.

The Fijian-born Kenyan International was also awarded as the top try scorer of the season with seven tries. The award was won by his teammate Brian Tanga in the 2021 season.

The top points scorer award went to Kenya Simbas and KCB Rugby star Darwin Mukidza. The award was last season won by Ntabeni Dukisa.
