Blak Blad have officially announced the departure of Lionel Ajeliti, who has joined Thika Road rivals KCB Rugby ahead of the National 7s Circuit.

Ajeliti has been a vital player in Blak Blad’s backline, contributing to the team’s success in winning various trophies, including the KUSA 7s and Varsity League with the Varsity side.

In a statement released by Blak Blad, they acknowledged Ajeliti’s significant contribution to the team and described him as a true playmaker.

They recognized his brilliance on the field and expressed gratitude for his dedication and skill during his time at the club.

Blak Blad also extended their best wishes to Ajeliti as he embarks on a new chapter with KCB Rugby.

“A true playmaker departs, leaving behind a legacy of brilliance, the Bladbin will miss your strategic genius. All the best as you set off to conquer new fields. Lionel Ajeliti has been signed to KCB Rugby,” Blad announced.

Meanwhile, Lionel Ajeliti will join KCB Rugby, a well-established and successful team in Kenyan rugby. His experience and skills are expected to contribute to KCB’s pursuit of victory in the upcoming National 7s Circuit.

His move means he will join scrum-half Brian Wahinya and Levy Amunga on the list of players that have crossed over from KU to KCB.

KCB who have failed to win major trophies in the last two seasons will be keen to do well in the National 7s Circuit which kicks off next weekend.
