The Oilers will be keen to defend their maiden Floodlit crown, won in 2024 after a dominant 42-3 victory over Impala RFC.
KCB will be eager to reclaim their place at the top after their shock 9-8 quarterfinal defeat to Blak Blad last year ended a run of five consecutive titles between 2017 and 2023.
KCB remain the most successful club in the history of the Floodlit with 10 titles, while Mean Machine follow closely with nine championships, their victories stretching from 1984 to 2011.
Beyond the hunt for silverware, the Impala Floodlit holds a key place in the rugby calendar, offering Nairobi and Nakuru-based sides a competitive preseason platform to fine-tune their systems ahead of the Kenya Cup, KRU Championship, and Nationwide Leagues.
