Heathens were equally ruthless, blanking Kigezi Silverbacks 34-0 in another one-sided encounter.
Hippos also enjoyed a strong start, running out 35-21 winners over Gulu City Falcons in a high-scoring affair.

Kobs made light work of Buddu Bears with a 26-12 victory, while Walukuba Barbarians powered past KIU Crows 27-5 to secure their opening win.
Buffaloes edged Rhinos 14-7 in a tight contest, Elgon Wolves defeated Mongers 22-12, and Kampani Eagles proved too strong for Rams with a 20-5 triumph.
