The 2025 FEASSSA Rugby Championships entered Day Two on Saturday, August 16, at the Bull Ring Grounds in Kakamega, producing another round of thrilling rugby in both the 7s and 15s competitions.
In the boys’ 7s, Bungoma High pulled off the biggest result of the day by edging Koyonzo 19-7 in a heated Kenyan derby.
St. Peter’s Mumias continued their dominance, thrashing Uganda’s London College Maya 31-0 before dismantling Makerere College School 40-12 later in the day.
Uganda’s St. Mary’s Kisubi had mixed fortunes, losing narrowly 7-5 to Makerere but bouncing back strongly with a 17-0 win over Rwanda’s Gitisi TSS.
Meanwhile, Bwake Boys got their campaign going with a 38-5 victory over London College.
The girls’ 7s also served up drama, with Kenya’s St. Theresa’s narrowly defeating JOGA Girls 7-5, while Kinale Secondary extended their perfect run with a convincing 38-7 win over Paul Harris.

In the 15s, Vihiga High School maintained their unbeaten start, grinding out a 15-8 victory over fellow Kenyans Upper Hill in a Pool A showdown.
Uganda’s Jinja SS also bounced back impressively, defeating Namilyango College 13-3 in the same pool.
In Pool B, Kenya’s All Saints Embu proved too strong for Busoga College Mwiri, sealing a comfortable 27-3 win.
