The Kenya Rugby Union (KRU) has announced a vacancy for the position of Coach Manager as part of its efforts to strengthen technical leadership and program delivery within the sport.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of coaching curricula, overseeing event and activity preparation, and providing leadership in coach training and meetings.
The role also involves upholding high safeguarding standards, particularly in relation to child protection and preventing Sexual Exploitation, Abuse, or Harassment (SEAH), while ensuring all agreed measurement protocols are applied across activities.

The position requires previous rugby and/or coach management experience, along with proven project cycle management expertise. Candidates should also have experience working with children and youth, or with social and emotional learning, and demonstrate openness to challenging traditional gender norms.
Key skills sought include strong relationship-building abilities, excellent written and verbal communication, proactivity, adaptability, and a commitment to accountability and integrity.
