2025 FEASSA Rugby 15s pools announced

Pools for the Federation of East Africa Schools Sports Associations, FEASSA Rugby 15s have been announced, with eight teams set to take part in the competition slated for 12–23 August in Kakamega.

In Pool A, Namilyango College will face off with Kenyan champions Vihiga High School, Jinja SS, and Upper Hill School. Namilyango College will be seeking to bounce back after missing out on the title last year.

FEASSA Rugby 15s victory

They last won the title at the 2022 Federation of East Africa Secondary School Sports Association (FEASSA) Games in Arusha.

Vihiga High School will be making their maiden 15s appearance, having won the national 15s title for the first time. They will be keen to replicate the 7s success witnessed last year in this competition.

Upper Hill School, on the other hand, will be eyeing their first title since 2018.

Group B has defending champions All Saints Embu, who managed a podium finish in the national games and are eyeing back-to-back titles. They will be up against Busoga College Mwiri, Kisii High School, and King’s College Budo.

The 7s games have attracted nine teams in the boys’ category. They include Kenyan champions St. Peter’s Mumias, last year’s runners-up Bwake, 2022 champions Koyonzo, and Bungoma High.

St. Mary’s College, London College Maya (Ug), Makerere College School (Ug), and Mbarara High School (Ug) form the Ugandan contingent, while Gitisi TSS represents Rwanda in the boys’ category.
