Defending Prinsloo 7s champions Strathmore Leos have unveiled their squad for the 2025 edition of the tournament, set to take place this weekend at the Nakuru Athletic Club.
Head coach Willis Ojal has made two changes to the side that featured in the Driftwood 7s final, leaving out Joseph Ayiro and Russell Orangi. Their spots have been filled by Shem Okola and Collins Maina.
The remaining 11 players were part of the team that reached the Driftwood 7s final. The squad will be led by Nygel Amaitsa and Gabriel Ayimba, both of whom earned Dream Team honours at the Mombasa leg.
Also retained in the squad are Barnabas Owuor, promising youngster Brian Mwendwa, Victor Mola, Elton Amalemba, and Stansilaus Shikoli. Samuel Wafula, Dennis Tubei, and Felix Njenga also keep their places.

Strathmore Leos lifted the 2024 Prinsloo 7s title after ending a 15-year wait with a dominant 33-7 victory over Nondescripts in the final.
In Pool B, the Leos are set to face Menengai Oilers, Daystar Falcons, and Zetech Oaks.
Kabete Stallions have also confirmed their squad for the Prinsloo 7s, which features the likes of Zoelic Buyuni, Lawrence Ndung’u, and Duncan Shamala among others.
