The quarterfinal pairings for the Western Region rugby 7s have been confirmed following an action-packed opening round at Booker Academy in Mumias.
Defending champions Koyonzo will face Friends School Kamusinga in the first Cup quarterfinal.

Koyonzo, who are seeking redemption after finishing third in the Kakamega County 7s, registered three straight wins to top their pool and advance to the knockout stage in style.
In the second quarterfinal, Bungoma High School are set to clash with Vihiga County 7s champions Chavakali High School, in what promises to be a highly competitive encounter.
Butula, who finished top of their pool in the preliminaries, will battle it out with Kakamega County champions Musingu in the third quarterfinal.

The final Cup quarterfinal will see Kakamega School take on St. Peter’s Mumias. Kakamega earned their spot after a statement 17-5 win over Musingu in the pool decider, securing the top spot in Pool D.
The quarterfinals are set to deliver thrilling rugby as teams fight for a spot in the semis and a shot at the Western Region crown.
