CUEA Monks emerged victorious in the first-ever Nairobi 7s Tournament after seeing off a spirited Kabete Stallions side 22-10 in a thrilling cup final staged at the University of Nairobi Grounds.
The Monks, who were grouped in Pool B alongside Mean Machine and MKU Tigers, capped off an impressive run in the tournament by clinching the title.

In the 3rd place playoff, Daystar Falcons claimed a hard-fought win over Zetech Oaks to seal the bronze position.
Elsewhere, Mean Machine secured 5th place after edging Homeboyz RFC 22-17 in a closely contested playoff, rounding off a competitive day of rugby that featured 15 teams split across five pools.
