Kisii High School Crowned 2025 Prescott Cup National Championship Champions

Kisii School are the 2025 Prescott cup national champions Champions, wrapping up a dominant run in this year’s competition with a convincing 17-5 victory over St. Patrick’s Iten in the final held on Saturday, June 28th at the RFUEA Grounds in Nairobi.

Kisii’s victory in the final came from tries scored by Prosper Buyanzi, Bejil Ochieng’, and Laystone Onduko, who also added a crucial conversion, which saw Kisii outplay St. Patrick’s Iten to lift this years title.

Their road to the final began with an emphatic 15-3 semifinal win over Rift Valley Academy, showcasing their sharpness.

St. Patrick’s Iten had earlier booked their place in the final after dispatching WAA High School with a dominant 23-3 victory.

This national title win adds to Kisii School’s already impressive record this year. Earlier in the season, they clinched the Western Region Prescott Cup title during the regional qualifiers held at St. Mary’s School Yala.

In that round, Kisii defeated both St. Mary’s Yala and rivals Butula School beating the hosts 17-7 and edging out Butula 17-5 to top the group.
