Kenya Lionesses secured a spot in the semifinals after a dominant 29-7 win over Poland, finishing unbeaten in Pool D.

Kenya struck first in the opening minutes, with Freshia Oduor scoring an unconverted try to give the Lionesses a 5-0 lead.
Poland responded quickly, as Oliwia Krysiak crossed the try line, and Julia Druzgała added the conversion to put them ahead 7-5.
However, Stella Wafula restored Kenya’s lead in what turned into a one-sided contest, scoring a try just before halftime to make it 10-7.

In the second half, Oduor sprinted through the defense to score again, extending the Lionesses’ lead to 17-7 after a successful conversion.
Despite Poland maintaining possession, they struggled to break through Kenya’s solid defense. In an attempt to clear from their try line, Judith Okumu intercepted the ball and capitalized on the open space, diving under the posts for a converted try, pushing the score to 24-7.
In the final minutes, Sinaida Nyachio exploited space on the right wing, racing to the corner for another try. Though the conversion was unsuccessful, Kenya sealed a 29-7 victory.
The Lionesses now advance to the semifinals, where they will face the leader of Pool A.
