The 2024/25 KRU Championship season got underway on Saturday and only two sides managed maximum points on day one of the competition.
Catholic Monks are currently on top of the table with five points after defeating TUM Marines in their last game and scored six points to earn a bonus point
They have a point differential of 38 after their first round having conceded only 10 points
MMUST Rugby follow in the second place with five points and point differential of 26 while Daystar Falcons come in third place with four points and a point differential of 14.
Position four,five and six are occupied by Western Bulls, Zetech Oaks and JKUAT Cougars each having 4 points with a point difference of 13,7and 6 respectively.
Mombasa RFC sit at position seven with 1 point and are followed by Homeboyz Rugby who also have 1 point and a point difference of -7. The two managed to pick losing bonus points.

University of Eldoret and USIU A-Martials share the same points of 0 at position nine and ten.
Mean Machine and TUM Marines are at the bottom of the list with 0 points and a point difference of -26 and -38 respectively.
