Menengai Oilers Academy were crowned 2026 BingwaFest National Champions after edging KEMU Pitbulls 5-0 in a tightly contested final played at Kinoru Stadium in Meru on April 5, 2026.
The clash lived up to its billing, with both sides putting up a solid defensive display that kept scoring opportunities to a minimum. In the end, it took a single unconverted try to separate the two teams, handing Oilers the title and sealing their place in history as the second-ever BingwaFest national champions, following in the footsteps of Homeboyz, who won the inaugural edition.
With the victory, Menengai Oilers Academy will pocket KSh 1.5 million courtesy of Betika Na Community, a reward for their resilience and consistency throughout the tournament.
