Former Kenya Cup side Mwamba RFC have named their matchday squad ahead of their upcoming fixture against the Catholic Monks.
Jerry Okoth starts at loosehead prop in the front row alongside hooker Bruce Shiemi, who captains the side, while Kelvin Juma completes the front row at tighthead.
In the second row, Christopher Asira partners with Gideon Mbithi to provide the engine room for the Mwamba pack.
The back row sees Alex Muyela line up on the blindside flank, with Aldrine Andaje starting on the openside while Amon Bwambok anchors the scrum at number eight.
At halfback, Charles Chege starts at scrum-half and will link up with Gideon Makumi at fly-half, forming the key playmaking axis for Mwamba.
The midfield pairing features Sabala Tendwa at inside centre and Brian Mutugi at outside centre.
Out wide, Shaquille Bosire starts on the left wing while Eugene Ojiambo occupies the right wing, with Charles Kuka slotted at fullback to complete the back three.
On the bench, Mwamba have opted for a mix of impact forwards and backs. Peter Chums, Abel Matanda and Ian Wamalwa who will serve as the second captain in the matchday leadership group provide front-row cover.
