Mwamba RFC have named a strong 23-man squad ahead of their highly anticipated KRU Championship top-of-the-table showdown against JKUAT Cougars in Juja.
The clash, set for JKUAT grounds, brings together two of the form sides in the competition, with league leadership and bragging rights firmly on the line.

Up front, Kelvin Juma, Bruce Shiemi and Abel Matanda form the front row as Mwamba look to lay a solid set-piece foundation. In the second row, Christopher Asira partners captain Ian Wamalwa, who will lead from the engine room.
The back row sees Alex Aturo, Amon Bwambok and Douglas Opani tasked with winning the physical battle at the breakdown and providing go-forward ball.

At halfback, Wycliffe Ochieng links up with Gideon Makumi in a combination that will be needed to control tempo and territory. The back three of Shaquel Bosire, Joseph Odoyo and Eugene Ojiambo offer pace and counter-attacking threat, while Sabala Tendwa and vice-captain Brian Mutugi marshal the midfield.
Mwamba have named a balanced bench with Brian Kahura, Jerry Okoth and Gideon Mbithi providing front-row and tight-five cover. Roxy Suchi and George Omolla add depth in the forwards, while Charles Kuka, Mark Gitonga and Kennedy Wanyoike are the backline reinforcements ready to inject energy when called upon.
With both sides sitting at the summit, the Juja encounter is expected to be fiercely contested.
