The Cup quarterfinal line-up for the Minto 7s Rugby Tournament has been confirmed following an action-packed pool phase that delivered dominant performances, tight finishes, and a few surprises.
Spikers booked their place in the Cup quarterfinals after receiving three walkovers in the pool stage. They will face Kisumu RFC in the last eight.
Elsewhere, ROR stamped their authority on the tournament with a flawless pool campaign, setting up a quarterfinal clash against Sigalagala. ROR were in ruthless form, recording emphatic wins including a 45–0 shutout of Kisii Kifaru, a 48–0 victory over Oyugis, and a 38–0 demolition of NY Homeboyz to underline their Cup credentials.
Winam earned their quarterfinal ticket after a mixed but effective pool run and will come up against Kisii University. Winam edged Kisii University 14–12 in round one, drew 7–7 with Kisumu RFC in round two, and finished strongly with a 33–7 win over Keroka to seal progression.

Kisii RFC will take on Kisii Kifaru in an all-Kisii affair after showing consistency across the rounds. Kisii RFC opened with a 19–12 win over Kisii Polytechnic, followed it up with a 26–7 victory against Rongo RFC, and capped their pool campaign with a 19–0 shutout of Sigalagala.
In the reset pool results, Kisii University recovered from an opening loss to beat Keroka 14–5 before falling 31–7 to Kisumu RFC, while Kisumu mixed a loss to Keroka with a draw against Winam and a strong final-round win over Kisii University.
Sigalagala impressed early with a 33–7 win over Rongo and a 28–17 victory against Kisii Polytechnic before being halted by Kisii RFC. Kisii Kifaru rebounded from heavy defeats to ROR to record wins over NY Homeboyz and Oyugis to stay in contention.
