Mwamba RFC are hot on their heels in second place with 11 points after winning two of their three matches and adding three bonus points to their tally.
JKUAT Cougars also sit on 11 points but occupy third spot due to a lower points difference, having drawn one and won two of their three games.
SC Pirates are in fourth position with a perfect win record from two matches and 10 points, while Zetech Oaks, have lost once this season and find themselves in fifth place.

Homeboyz, NYS Spades, Mombasa RFC and USIU Martials occupy the mid-to-lower section of the table as they look to revive their campaigns when the league resumes.
Western Bulls find themselves rooted at the bottom with -2 points after a difficult start to the season that has seen them dish a walkover which saw them deducted points.
The one-month break now offers teams a chance to regroup, recover from injuries, and fine-tune their tactics ahead of the second phase of the championship.
