NYS Spades and Kisii RFC have confirmed their matchday squads ahead of their Kenya Rugby Union Championship 2025/26 encounter scheduled for Saturday, 6th December 2025 at NYS Headquarters at 3:00 PM.
The hosts, NYS Spades, have named a starting XV led by a pack spearheaded by Romanos Clivert, Joseph Orwa, and Joseph Kilula in the front row. Noah Jedy and Masai Kibet form the second row partnership.
In the back row, Evans Wekesa, Collince Odhiambo, and No.8 Moses Alemba. Isaac Amwoma starts at scrum-half, feeding Cyprian Ouma at fly-half.
The backline includes Nickson Wekesa on the left wing, Dennis Pombo and Brian Onyancha in midfield, Dennis Walubengo on the right wing, and Ephraim Barasa at fullback.
The “Bomb Squad” features reinforcements: Atanus Wafula, Bravin Wekesa, Hillary Ashidiva, Trevor Juma, Michael Mwangi, Eric Nyamongo, Bronvil Amimo, and Sham Chimoi, all expected to provide impact off the bench.

Kisii RFC, coached by Nelvine Lumiti, have responded with an equally competitive side. The front row consists of Emmanuel Amecha, Samson Mapesa, and Ahmed Ismail, supported by locks Mike Oyoo and John Paul Obiri. The loose trio is anchored by captain Evans Makori, alongside Jackson Kengere and No.8 Shawn Calvin.
At scrum-half, Ramadhan Mohammed partners assistant captain Frank Mulesi at fly-half. The midfield pairing of Arthur Rhoderick and Carillary Namare provides stability, while back three players Joshua Moturi, Clifford Nyabwari, and Angelo Makori add finishing power.
Kisii’s reserves include Benedict Mukabale, Brian Ogero, Edmond Ogoti, Bejil Ochieng’, John Linknton, Veron Dan, Benedict Obura, and Janpaulsen Otieno.
